Shower enclosures for attics and sloping walls
How to fit a shower in an attic, under a sloping ceiling or in a corner that is not square, and when a 135° enclosure is the right choice.
Attic bathrooms have their own charm, but also their own challenges. Sloping ceilings, walls that do not meet at a right angle and irregular corners mean that off the shelf shower enclosures simply will not fit. This is exactly where made to measure glass shows its worth.
Why standard enclosures do not suit attics
Standard enclosures are made for square 90° corners and walls of equal height. Attics are different: one wall slopes down, the angle between the walls is often wider than a right angle, and the height changes from one end of the shower to the other.
- a sloping ceiling that cuts across the line where the door would be
- an angle between the walls that is not 90°
- walls that are not perfectly flat or vertical
- limited height on one side of the shower
Trying to make a standard enclosure fit such a space usually ends with wide gaps, far too much silicone and water leaking out of the shower.
Made to measure glass, on the other hand, follows every wall and every corner. That is why even the most demanding attic can have a shower that looks neat and keeps the water in.
The 135° enclosure: made for sloping walls
The 135° shower enclosure is designed precisely for spaces where the walls do not meet at a right angle. The glass follows the real angle of your bathroom, so the enclosure looks as if it had always been there. Prices start from 21,000 RSD.
The enclosure opens on hinges, so the entrance is wide and comfortable.
Like our other enclosures, it is made of tempered glass, clear, frosted or black, with hardware in black, gold or silver.

Measuring matters even more here
In an attic every millimetre counts. That is why we always take the final measurements on site, during a free visit to your address. We measure the angle between the walls, the slope of the ceiling and the height at several points, and then cut the glass to the real, measured conditions.
This way the enclosure fits well even when the walls are not perfectly straight, which in attics is the rule rather than the exception. If you would like to prepare, you will find useful advice in our guide to custom shower enclosures.
Before our visit you can take rough measurements yourself. Note the width and depth of the shower, the height at the lowest and highest points and roughly where the ceiling slope begins. Those figures are enough to see an approximate price in the calculator, and we take the exact measurements.
Choosing glass and hardware for an attic
Attics often have smaller windows and less natural light. That is why clear glass is the most common choice: it does not block the light and does not visually shrink a space that is already limited by the sloping wall.
If the bathroom is spacious and well lit, you can also choose frosted or black glass. Black hardware nicely emphasises the line of the sloping wall, while silver hardware stays understated and lets the glass take centre stage.
From measuring to installation
After measuring, production takes 7 to 15 working days. We install the enclosure ourselves, so you do not need to worry about fitting the glass against a sloping wall. The glass, hardware and installation are covered by a 2 year warranty.
We agree the installation day in advance, so that it suits you. When we finish, we check that the door closes properly and that the glass sits well against the walls.
We have more than 10 years of experience and over 1000 installed enclosures. We work in Niš and across Serbia, and addresses more than 30 km from Niš have a travel surcharge, which you can see in the calculator.
Open the 135° enclosure page, enter your measurements in the calculator and you will see an approximate price straight away, with or without installation. For an attic we recommend that you book a free measurement right away, so we can find the best solution for your space together.
